Southern Italy
Southern Italy and its regions refer to the Italian Peninsula and Sicily plus the island of Sardinia. These regions are Basilicata, Campania, Calabria, Apulia, and Molise.
Southern Italy has a unique and diverse culture with many tourist attractions, such as the Palace of Caserta, the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Herculaneum, and in particular, the ruins of ancient Pompeii are one of the world's most visited tourist attractions. Southern Italy is also well known for its beautiful beaches and coastlines, rich art, culture, cuisine, literature, history, and folkloric traditions.
