CONDO IN 16th CENTURY FORTRESS

PORTO ERCOLE, TUSCANY

Porto Ercole is a village in Monte Argentario, one of the most famous and renowned locations on the Tuscan coast.

The condo is situated in a medieval fortress which has been restructured and maintained as an exclusive, quiet, gated community of 42 units.

The fortress is a national heritage monument.
Condos available for sale in this complex are  rare.

The extended lawns and walks within the walls offer spectacular views of the village, the port, the nearby four mile beach with its pine tree woods.  Smaller beaches are just below the fortress.

The unit is 800 sq.ft on two levels. On the ground floor, overlooking the large lawn, is the living room with a fireplace and a full open kitchen. On the upper floor, there is a large bedroom with vaulted ceiling and the bathroom.

This is an excellent location for travel within the Tuscan countryside. It is a 10 minute drive to the golf course, 1 hour to Siena, 2 hours to Florence, less than 2 hours to the Rome and Pisa airports. Parking space is available within the walls of the fortress.
