Unlike other Central American countries, real estate in Belize is "free hold title," meaning you actually own the land you purchase. Cyan Belize is located 64 miles south of Belize City. The site itself is on the edge of a Manatee Preserve, about 4 miles from the Caribbean coast by boat using Manatee Bar River. It is 20 miles from Cyan Belize to the barrier reef, the second largest of its kind in the world. There are two other water channels to Belize City, one up the coast and one via an inland waterway. The driving time from Cyan Belize to the Belize International Airport is 1 hour 20 minutes.
